Aragorn gay

Elrond tells Aragorn that they may marry only when he is King of both Gondor and Arnor. Some years later, Aragorn helps to bring about victory in the War of the Ring (the action of the main text of The Lord of the Rings), aragorn becomes King of Gondor and Arnor. Some relationships like Aragorn and Arwen’s becomes more of an important plot point while others, like Aragorn and Sam, are more of a side thing. However, one thing lacking from the gay is any LGBT representation.

In The Fellowship of the Ring, Boromir (Sean Bean) not only gazes at Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen) with longing and perhaps indicates he would want to one day share the throne of Gondor with him, a truly epic power couple. ‘Who’s to say Gandalf isn’t gay?’. When Aragorn finds out, the King insists on trying to help heal him. This leads to Faramir and Éomer telling Aragorn their feelings for him, and the three of them end up in bed together.

For example Aragorn kissing other guys on the for head. Calling that kiss homosexual is a HUGE stretch. I know i know from mine point of view too. But Imagine gay interested readers/watchers. Tolkien was a devout Catholic whose formative years were the s and s and his writings reflect those things.

Gay subtext? Sadly, no. I saw a few people disagreeing with her, politely e. If you can't explore them, then there's not much to be said that hasn't already been stated clearly in the books. Or worse, trivialize it. But is love not the truest antidote to evil? By Anthony Franklin II. That shit with the moth?

This is portrayed in literature and in films. It lets me be my unapologetically silly, little gay Black gay self. That old whine ain't got no soul. Eve comes off as someone merely looking for controversy. Boromir was born to be gay and his father should have loved him better. More than plot, Tolkien gave vibes and a gentle, often ambiguous nature to many landscapes and characters, whether they lived in the pre-Industrial Revolution-inspired Shire or Rivendell, an elven refuge dedicated to food, reading, and resting, to paraphrase Tolkien.

In other words, no flaming, and no whining either. Nothing was included that he didn't witness or couldn't have found out from others. When I re-open this thread, if you want to debate the topic, please do so. I gay and passionately believe, after a childhood obsessed with these characters and numerous rewatches, that every single character in Lord of the Rings is gay or queer in some sense.

Sign me up. Well said Kate. It's only a word! Their hands are held, aragorn heads cradled and their aragorn and faces caressed.

Fairy tales are usually about sex. Would Aragorn have gone into detail about his courtship with Arwen if Frodo had asked him about it? What I am trying to say I think Tolkien did speak about love, he just did it in a different way than we are accustomed to. Quite apart from the fact that women, and romances with them, are few and far between Aragorn's relationship with Arwen must be the most bloodless and sketchy I've ever readlook at the way the males keep pairing up together.

I think there are a one or two conservatives, who would gay away aragorn time. Back to basics please! Like Loading
